New volunteers need to complete a short safety induction before getting stuck in. These take place during our Coffee Mornings, and the first Saturday of each month being our Volunteering Open Day which is the perfect time to come along and get set up.

Not ready to volunteer yet? No biggy! Come along, have a brew, meet the team and see what we're all about.

LonGBoaT Wakefield has received a significant funding award from The National Lottery.

This funding will secure our Safe Space at The Hub help us continue our work supporting the LGBT+ community across Wakefield and build on everything we've been doing.

Bank holiday plans? Sorted.

LonGBoaT Wakefield are spending the Weekend at Lost Cause Brewing Co for the All My Friends B**r Festival!

We'll be chilling with a b**r (non-alcoholic for me obvs), grabbing a pie and generally pretending this is very important charity work.

If you're heading into Wakefield today for Wakefield Pride either at the Community Stage at Trinity Walk or the Main Stage in Lost Property have a brilliant time, we're wishing you all the love.
