🍁 🇬🇧 That’s a wrap on Group Camp! 🏕️

What a weekend! 🙌

Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers from Wrenthorpe Scouts and Landvaettir Explorer Scout Unit came together for a brilliant weekend of adventure, teamwork, challenges and plenty of fun.

From the youngest Beavers to our Explorers, everyone played their part - learning new skills, helping each other out and making memories together. 💚

A huge thank you to all the young people who threw themselves into the weekend, and to the brilliant leaders and volunteers who made it happen. 👏

One group. All sections. One fantastic weekend.

🍁 **Autumn is coming!** 🍁

We’re getting ready to kickstart another exciting Explorer programme, packed with adventure, skills, challenges and plenty of fun.

This year, we’re putting youth-led Scouting front and centre. Our Explorers have helped shape the programme, and they’ll have even more opportunities to lead, organise and make it their own. 💜

🎖️ Explorer badges have also had a revamp, making them more flexible and achievable around the things you actually enjoy.

Plus, the new Challenge Awards offer bigger opportunities to turn your interests into projects and work towards your top awards.

This week is Group Camp - then the new programme begins!

💜 Fundraising Team – We Need You! 💜

Behind every great adventure is a team of people making it happen… and we’re looking for our fundraising dream team! 🦫⚜️

We’re looking for parents, carers, grandparents, friends and members of our local community who would be happy to lend a hand with fundraising ideas, events and activities for our Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers.

🎪 Organise an event
💡 Share fundraising ideas
🎟️ Help run a fundraiser
📣 Spread the word
🤝 Get local businesses involved
🍰 Bake, sell, raffle, organise… whatever you’re good at!

You don’t need fundraising experience — just a little time, enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved. Every pound raised helps us provide more opportunities, adventures and experiences for our young people. 🌳🏕️🚣

Whatever your results say today, remember: an exam grade can’t measure everything that makes you who you are.

We’ve seen you lead, navigate, paddle, camp, problem-solve, support your mates, overcome challenges and keep going when things got tough.

Those achievements count too.

Be proud of what you’ve achieved, whatever the grades. Celebrate the wins, learn from the setbacks, and look forward to what comes next.

You’re more than a set of letters on a results sheet. ❤️
