The Bradley Lowery Foundation

The Bradley Lowery Foundation The Bradley Lowery Foundation, has been set up to support families fundraising for treatment or equipment not available on the NHS
(4745)

The Bradley Lowery Foundation was established in August 2017 after Bradley Lowery lost his fight to Neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer. In 2013 his mum, Gemma, started a fundraising campaign to raise funds to get Bradley treatment in the USA, which was not available in the UK. The campaign was very successful and with the support off thousands of people, raised over £1.3

m, as well as vital awareness for neuroblastoma and childhood cancer in general. The donations provided the funding base for the charity. The Bradley Lowery Foundation aims to support families who are fundraising for treatment or equipment, which is not readily available or covered by the NHS. This includes all illnesses and conditions. The foundation also: supports research into neuroblastoma and childhood cancers; is developing plans to support a £600,000 holiday home in Scarborough; runs a support line for the families of children with cancer in the North East. Having the foundation, has given me a purpose. I know that Brad would be so proud to see how many children his name is able to help. He has left a lasting legacy, and I know that although he was only with us for a short time, with his strength and determination, he has changed the lives of many. I am so proud of my little boy, he inspires me every day to keep fighting for families we support.

With the world cup well on its way I thought this would be the perfect Throwback 🤍

Brad's mascot experience with our England team back in 2017 was so incredibly special. I think you can probably tell from the huge smile on Bradleys face how much he enjoyed it too.

Such beautiful memories we cherish forever 🥰

Best of Luck to the England team for this years world cup!! I know my beautiful boy will be cheering you on from above🤍

🤍 CANCER HAS NO COLOURS 🤍

Many of you will know that every year, from 7th–14th July, we hold our annual Cancer Has No Colours campaign in memory of our beautiful boy, Bradley.

This slogan was born when Bradley was mascot at Everton and his daddy said something that has stayed with us ever since.

Cancer has no colours, it doesn’t care what team you support.

The idea of wearing football shirts came from the incredible support we received on the day of Bradley’s funeral, when people lined the streets of our village united in every colour imaginable, putting rivalries aside to celebrate and remember our precious son.

That powerful image of people standing together is exactly what this campaign is all about unity, remembrance and making a difference together.

We would love for you to join us this year.

Taking part is super simple:

⚽ Wear your football shirt or team colours to work, school or throughout your day.

💛 Donate £1 per person to the Bradley Lowery Foundation.

Every shirt worn and every pound donated helps us continue supporting seriously ill children and their families.

If you would like an event poster or any further information, please email [email protected].

Thank you for helping us show that, no matter who we support, Cancer Has No Colours. 🤍

I have so many photos like this. 💔

Bradley was always having a little nap. His tiny body went through so much, and he would tire so easily, especially after playing or having one of his mad half hours. 😀❤️

I used to sit and watch him sleep for ages. He looked so peaceful, so content, and for a little while it felt like all the worries but weren't real.

He definitely had me wrapped around his little finger and waiting on him hand and foot. Which he absolutely loved (and sometimes took full advantage of 😂). But I wouldn't have had it any other way. Looking after my boy was the greatest privilege, and I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat.

These are the moments I treasure most ❤️

Firstly thank you to everyone who has already signed and share this petition, but there is still a long way to go.
There are just over 11,000 signatures but I know we can do better.

1 in every 2 people in the UK will be diagnosed with cancer, and I am sure you will agree, that the earlier it diagnosed, the better the prognosis.

We really need people to get behind this campaign, to bring the vital changes needed.

Early diagnosis saves lives, be part of solution by signing and sharing this petition today!

We ask the Government to mandate cancer training for all GPs in England, requiring all GPs to complete mandatory, standardised training on cancer red-flag symptoms, with formal assessment, regular revalidation, NHS England regulation, and GMC linkage to improve early diagnosis.
