House of Abundance in Horden (an Energiser Hub) is offering a free cookery cook.

If you can learn to cook fresh, local ingredients, you can reduce air miles in the food chain, which saves carbon. It also saves all the carbon energy used in producing processed food.

Plus, you can make food that suits your tastebuds!

Our team are friendly and fully trained. They can provide you with free and impartial advice to help you to save energy and reduce your bills.

Are data centres an inevitable and awkward cost of progress? Or do you think they can be used to create positive infrastructure for local communities? Do you have thoughts and opinions about how decisions on data centres are made?

A full day workshop on Saturday 26 September in Horden will explore various aspects of data centres.

The researchers are looking for local residents who would be interested in coming along. They will choose from those that fill in the form, so not everyone gets to attend.

The event will include lunch and a thank you gift.
