Skye wasn’t just a dog.

She was Michael’s loyal companion, his service dog and a much loved member of the Charlie Boys Angels family.

Together, Michael and Skye supported our charity at countless events, always happy to lend a helping paw 🐾and be part of our community.

Sadly, Skye passed away on Sunday 21st June, and shortly we’ll be adding Skye’s name on the Rainbow Wall to have her own special place on our memorial wall.

Some dogs leave paw prints on the ground.

Others leave them on our hearts forever.

Run free, beautiful Skye. 🌈💖

Thank you for your loyalty, your gentle nature and for all the joy you brought to everyone who had the privilege of knowing you.

You’ll always be part of the Charlie Boys Angels family.

With temperatures reaching 36°C+ this week, many of us have the luxury of finding shade, turning on a fan or heading somewhere cool.

For people sleeping rough, that’s not always possible.

And for those with dogs, the challenge becomes even greater.

One of the biggest barriers homeless pet owners face isn’t a lack of love for their animals.

It’s finding somewhere safe where they can stay together.

Far too many people are faced with an impossible choice:

A roof over their head… or their dog.

At Charlie Boys Angels, we believe nobody should have to make that choice.

This heatwave is a reminder of why pet friendly support, outreach and accommodation matter so much.

Because when temperatures soar, people and their pets need each other more than ever. ❤️🐾

Not every story starts well… but we’re so grateful when they have a happy chapter. ❤️🐾

This beautiful dog lives in one of the houses we help manage and, just over a month ago, was sadly hit by a car.

The injuries were so severe that one of his legs had to be amputated.

But even on 3 legs.
His full of life. Still enjoying his walks. Still enjoying being a dog.

Animals are incredibly resilient, and every time we see him, we’re reminded that life’s setbacks don’t always define the future.

Here’s to courage, recovery and plenty more adventures ahead. 🐶❤️

After Busters recent passing, we decided to put Buster’s name onto the Ribbon Project memorial wall ❤️🐾

It’s always heartbreaking when we have to say goodbye to one of the dogs whose journey has touched our hearts.

Although Buster’s time with us was short, he left a lasting impression on everyone who met him.

His final days were spent surrounded by care, compassion and kindness. He received the help he desperately needed, and when the time came, the hardest decision was made out of love.

Now his name sits proudly on the memorial wall, ensuring he will never be forgotten.

Run free, Buster 🌈

No more pain.
No more suffering.

Just endless fields to run through and friends waiting for you on the other side.

Forever loved.
Forever remembered. ❤️

Meet George ❤️🐾

One of the best parts of what we do isn’t always the big events or the fundraising.

Sometimes it’s the simple moments.

Last week, while Lynne and Angie were helping to clean the hallways at one of the houses we support, they had the pleasure of spending a little time with George.

And what a handsome boy he is. 🐶

Seeing pets settled, safe and enjoying life alongside their owners is exactly why we do what we do.

Every dog has a story, and every wagging tail is a reminder of the difference that stability, support and kindness can make.

Thanks for making our day, George. We think you stole the show. ❤️

❤️ Supporting those who support others ❤️

Whilst we don’t often promote fundraising events outside of Charlie Boys Angels, this one is a little different.

The team at Aspirations Program have been there alongside us from the early days.

Over the years we’ve supported one another, shared resources and worked towards the same goal of helping vulnerable people within our community.

They have generously provided the venue for our Annual General Meetings, both this year and in previous years, and we are incredibly grateful for their continued support.

That’s why we’re happy to help spread the word about their upcoming Charity Fashion Show and Shopping Evening.

In the charity sector, we’re stronger when we work together, support each other and celebrate each other’s successes.

Not every animal we help can be featured in a post.

Not every situation allows us to tell the full story.

Sometimes the most important work happens quietly, behind the scenes, away from the cameras and away from social media.

Today was one of those days.

A long day.
An emotional day.
An exhausting day.

The kind of day that reminds us why Charlie Boys Angels exists.

Whilst we can’t always share the details, please know that every donation, every volunteer hour and every act of support helps make days like this possible.

The posts you see are only a small part of what happens.

The real work often happens when nobody is watching.

⚽️🐾 RESULTS DON’T DEFINE HEART.

It wasn’t our day on the scoreboard, with the Charlie Boys Angels Football Team losing our latest game 8-3 to Wandering Crows.

But what a performance from our lads. 💙

Considering Wandering Crows have been playing together for years and our team is still newly formed, every player gave absolutely everything from the first whistle to the last.

We were actually 3-0 up at one stage!!

This team is about so much more than football.

It’s about friendship, community, support and bringing people together for a cause bigger than themselves.

We’re incredibly proud of every single player who pulled on the shirt and represented Charlie Boys Angels Charity with passion, determination and heart.

Thank you to Wandering Crows for a great game and sportsmanship throughout. 👏

Onwards and upwards. The future is bright for this team. ⚽️🐾

Sometimes the biggest difference is made by people who simply care ❤️🐾

We would like to say a huge thank you to Laura from Woof N Wag Bakery and everyone involved in making the Trinity Fair such a fantastic success.

Not only did they organise an incredible event, but they chose to support Charlie Boys Angels and raise vital funds for the work we do supporting homeless and vulnerable people and their pets.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended, donated, purchased raffle tickets and supported the live stream, an amazing £220 was raised for our charity.

As a charity that receives no government funding, every penny raised helps us provide pet food, outreach support, veterinary treatment and essential care to those who need it most.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, support and belief in our mission.

We are so grateful to have people like you supporting the Charlie Boys family ❤️
