Meet Ian. 💙

Tonight, from 7pm until 7pm tomorrow evening, Ian is taking on something extraordinary — a full 24-hour spinathon!!!!

Yes, you read that right. 24 hours on a bike, all to raise vital funds for us here at The One Love Project.

This is a challenge that will take real stamina, grit and heart — and we are so incredibly humbled and proud that he's chosen to do it for us.

But as Ian pedals through the night, we're reminded of why this matters. Through those long, dark, cold hours, so many people in our community have no choice but to face the night on the streets — no warmth, no comfort. Ian's 24 hours are a challenge he's chosen; for many, it's simply survival. Every mile he rides is for them.

The countdown has begun! ⏳

We're just a few hours away from the amazing 24 Hour Takeover, organised by the wonderful team at truGym Thorpe Bay.

This incredible event has been made possible by so many people — local businesses, supporters and volunteers who have all stepped up to raise vital funds for two brilliant charities. That's the power of community, and it's truly humbling to see.

🎟️ Tickets are still on sale, but they're going fast — and classes are booking up quickly! For just £24, you can take part in all of the classes on offer, or simply pick one. The team are waiting to take your calls, so don't miss out. Your ticket gives you access from 7pm Friday 4th to 7pm Saturday 5th

🎂 And there's even more to celebrate — truGym are marking their 4th Birthday with a birthday fair, open to everyone! Expect stalls, activities and plenty of fun for all the family.

What an amazing surprise for those attending our food bank yesterday.

We had a visit from Sammy the Shrimp and Rocksea the Seal 🦐🦭.

Sammy was helping out on the food bank and Rocksea couldn’t resist a quick scoot around.

Thank you to Sammy and Rocksea - it really made the day for those children attending our service.

We could not run our services without our amazing volunteers, they play a vital role in helping us provide food, clothing, wellbeing support and a welcoming, safe space for everyone who attends our services.

We offer a range of volunteering opportunities during the week, from kitchen and food preparation to sorting donations, set up and running of our Foodbank and Marketplace. Whether you are available during the day or in the evening, there is a role to suit you!

No previous experience is needed - just a willingness to help, a friendly attitude and reliability 💪🏻
