A great harvest, a growing community! 🌱💚

Our allotment at St Vincent’s Southend has given us a great harvest of beautiful fresh food to help support our Kindness Kitchen, where we feed around 100 people a night.

Behind every harvest are people working together, sharing skills and encouraging one another. Planting, watering and picking create opportunities to talk, listen, build healthy relationships and offer support.

Everyone has something to contribute and seeing the food we grow become a meal for someone else brings a real sense of pride and purpose.

Now we’re preparing our three plots for winter, caring for the soil and looking ahead with hope to an even bigger harvest next season.

Thank you to everyone helping us grow food, friendship and a community where people feel welcome, valued and connected. 🌿
