Royal Naval Association - Southend Branch

Royal Naval Association - Southend Branch As a Branch of the RNA, we support its core values of Unity, Loyalty, Patriotism and Comradeship.

We attend parades in support of our military brethren and collect for seafaring charities as well as commemorating key events and dates throughout the year. Formed on 20th May 1938 as the Southend-on-Sea Branch of the Royal Navy Old Comrades Association (RNOCA), the Branch became part of the Royal Naval Association (RNA) on its formation in 1950. It later formed the RNA Club Southend, which was incorporated into the Royal Naval Association on 30 May 1981.

Happy Liberation Day, Falkland Islands! πŸŽ‰

A Day of Pride and Hope.

June 14th is a truly special day for the Falkland Islands. It's our Liberation Day – a time to celebrate the freedom and self-determination we secured in 1982.

This day is about more than just history; it's about the spirit of our community, the strength of our people, and the bright future we are building together. We honour the sacrifices made to protect our home and reaffirm our commitment to our values.

Let's celebrate our unique identity, our vibrant community, and the continued progress of our beloved Islands. Here's to a future built on freedom, resilience, and unity.
