What a way to end Carers Week 2024! 😀

A big thanks to all the talented artists involved in the Southend Portrait Competition 2024 and the fabulous people who bid for and bought the wonderful works of art to raise a whopping £1,112 to support our Southend Young Carers project 😁 A special mention to Stacie, Andrew, Elwira and Sheryl (and many more) for making the event extra special, on a sunny Sunday, down at Twenty One 🥰

The LITTLE THEATRE COMPANY will be performing songs during the afternoon from their recent hit shows of Grease and Made in Dagenham - together with a taste of shows to come. To celebrate Carers Week 2024, Southend Carers will be hosting a Men's Shed Day @ Garon Park Wellbeing (Cricket Ground SS2 4FA).

This event will offer male unpaid carers a relaxed and friendly safe space, to meet and chat to other male carers, and at the same time, have some fun engaging in some wood crafting - under experienced watchful eyes.

There will be 2 sessions available: 10am-12noon and 2pm-4pm

And a tasty BBQ lunch will be provided too from 12.30pm to 1.30pm!
