Yesterday, Isaac and Grace attended the Thurrock Cares Roadshow at Cowdray Hall in West Thurrock, joining local organisations to connect residents with the support, advice and services available in their community.

It was a great opportunity to meet local residents, raise awareness of our service, and have conversations about the support available for young people and families across Thurrock.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat. We’re proud to be part of events that bring services together and help communities access the support they need.

👯 Stick with your mates and make a plan to get home
🥤 Watch your drink, and never accept one you haven’t seen poured

We were delighted to join Everyone Health Southend today on Southend High Street, supporting and helping people take positive steps towards a smoke-free future. 🚭💙

It was a great opportunity to speak with local residents, raise awareness of the support available, and signpost people to both of our services. Everyone Health will be on Southend High Street every Tuesday throughout October, offering advice, support and encouragement for anyone looking to quit smoking.

Are you passionate about supporting young people to make positive choices and reach their potential?

Open Road is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Young Person’s Targeted Intervention Worker to join our Thurrock team. Working alongside young people, families and partner agencies, including Youth Offending Services and Probation, you’ll help raise awareness of the risks associated with substance misuse and provide support that empowers young people to make informed decisions about their future.

We’re looking for someone with energy, empathy and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for young people. Whether your experience comes from youth work, community support, health and social care, education, or other people-focused roles, we’d love to hear from you.
