Little Rascals Foundation is a charity that has been set up by the directors of Little Rascals Play Centre, Dave Edwards and Ben Wootton, to support children with disabilities. Ben has worked closely with people with disabilities throughout his career and has a good understanding of the difficulties these children and their families face. Ben wanted to set up this charity, so that he could help these brave children to overcome these challenges. Dave is a professional footballer and wanted to use his status to help others. Since opening Little Rascals, Dave has taken pleasure in seeing how much the play centre has been able to support children with disabilities, and feels that this charity is the perfect way to support them further, in many different ways. The Little Rascals Foundation will strive to support children with disabilities, helping them to participate in what is considered 'normal' in their everyday society. Little Rascals Play Centre already works hard to make the centre accessible for all children. They hold 'Kids Plus' sessions, which enable children with disabilities to play when the centre is quieter and have sole access to the play equipment and their sensory room. The charity will now look to expand these services and raise further funds to support children with disabilities throughout the Midlands and Mid-Wales.

It’s time to turn up the BOO-lume and get your quiz brains hauntingly ready! 🧠💀

On Friday 30th October, 7:30pm–9:30pm, we're throwing an ADULTS ONLY HALLOWEEN QUIZ NIGHT as part of our staff fundraising events! 🕷️🍹

After a quiet summer caused by multiple heatwaves, we're hoping to raise some much-needed funds for Little Rascals Foundation. As a non-profit organisation, we rely on donations and the support of families and our community through footfall at our soft play centre to help us continue what we do. ❤️

So grab your favourite ghouls, witches, weirdos and quiz monsters and come and put your spooky knowledge to the test! 👻

🎃👻 IT'S TIME TO VOTE… AND WE'RE ALREADY NERVOUS! 👻🎃

During our Halloween Staff Sleepover Fundraiser, our brave (or possibly slightly foolish 👀) staff team will be taking on a whole host of challenges, forfeits and fundraising milestones!

Most of the forfeits will be triggered when we hit certain fundraising targets…

BUT ONE FORFEIT IS ENTIRELY IN YOUR HANDS! 😈

That's right… YOU get to decide our fate! 🫣

We've chosen THREE suitably horrible forfeits, and the one that receives the most donations will be carried out by one very unlucky member of staff during our Halloween sleepover! 🎃

🥧 OPTION 1: PIE FACE THE BOSS

One unlucky staff member gets to give the boss a full-on pie to the face! 💥🥧
Will they get their revenge… or will the boss escape unscathed?

🙈 OPTION 2: THE BLINDFOLD RACE

Our brave staff member must take on a guided blindfold obstacle race… relying entirely on their teammates to guide them to the finish! 😂
What could possibly go wrong?!

One unfortunate member of staff gets the full slime treatment! 🟢🤢
Who will be chosen? Will they survive? Will they ever get the slime out of their clothes?!

💜🌈 WEDNESDAY AFTERNOONS = SEN AFTERNOONS AT LITTLE RASCALS! 🌈💜

Every Wednesday afternoon, we open our doors for a special SEN ONLY session, creating a safe, relaxed and understanding environment where little rascals can play, explore and simply be themselves. 🥰

🕒 Every Wednesday | 3pm–5pm

Our SEN sessions are all about fun without pressure — with access to our soft play and sensory room, there’s space for children to explore at their own pace, enjoy new experiences and spend time with other families who understand. 💕

💔 ABSOLUTELY HEARTBROKEN AND DISGUSTED! 💔😡

We are honestly lost for words this morning. 😭

Last night, someone decided to enter our Little Rascals Foundation sensory garden and deliberately smash up and destroy equipment that has been put there for children with additional needs to enjoy. 💔

WHY?! What could anyone possibly gain from doing something so cruel and mindless?!

Our sensory garden isn't just a garden. It's a safe, special space created for children with disabilities and additional needs. A place where they can explore, play, learn and enjoy experiences that so many of us take for granted. ❤️

As a small charity, we work incredibly hard to raise every penny to provide these opportunities for local children and their families. Our equipment doesn't come easily. It comes from fundraising, donations, generosity and a LOT of hard work.

To see it smashed up like this is absolutely devastating. 😭

To whoever did this, we genuinely hope you are ashamed of yourselves. You've not just damaged a few pieces of equipment. You've taken away something that was there to bring happiness to children who deserve nothing less.

We are angry. We are upset. And quite frankly, we cannot understand how anyone could think this is acceptable.

💔 If anyone saw or heard anything suspicious around Little Rascals last night, please get in touch with us. Any information, however small, could help.

To everyone who continues to support our little charity, thank you. ❤️ We will do everything we can to put things right, because our children deserve better than this.
