Jaffa Fund Jaffa Fund bio to follow

29/04/2026

The Jaffa Fund was set up following the tragic accident that claimed the life of Gareth ‘Jaffa’ Roberts on the 2012 Targa Florio Rally.

His brother Dai Roberts – together with fellow Welsh co-driver Phil Pugh and two of Gareth’s best friends, Rhys Lloyd and Owain Davies – set the Fund up to help those who had been hospitalised or forced to miss work because of injuries sustained in rally accidents.

Craig Parry has since joined and the Fund has continued to grow, helping more and more recuperating competitors in their time of need.

Under Dai’s leadership, the Fund helped so many competitors, not just for those suffering the physical scars, but emotional ones too.

With the passing of Dai at the Jim Clark rally last year, the fund continues to help competitors and their families.
