SWWOP deliver a range of harm minimisation interventions, during outreach sessions via the project van, such as safer drug use equipment, hot drinks and nutritious sandwiches, onward referral to other agencies as appropriate, e.g pregnancy services, information sharing with the women and other relevant agencies i.e police about men who pose a physical and s*xual risk to women. Outreach sessions a
lso provide information, advice, support, advocacy and access to enable women wanting to exit street prostitution make positive lifestyle changes.This includes organising and providing comprehensive tailored support packages for each woman and the provision of workshops aimed at equipping women with the knowledge and skills to make positive lifestyle changes.
