No Matter How Far They Roam, Let Them Always Know The Way Home

Think of the homing pigeon carried hundreds of miles to places it has never seen yet it soars across unknown skies past mountains & cities and flies straight home. It carries a compass within it that never fails.

Think of the sea turtle hatched on a quiet shore swimming thousands of miles across vast oceans gone for years yet it returns to the very same beach guided by an invisible imprint etched deep within. Simply remarkable!

Think of the swallow flying to the ends of the earth with the changing seasons yet when the time comes it finds its way back to the very same branch the very same nest year after year.

What is their secret? They carry home within them. Home is not just a place it is a deep unshakable sense of safety connection & love that guides them no matter how far they wander.

Our children are just like them. Their minds will travel far. They will explore question stumble dream and face things we cannot always see. They will meet people navigate choices & walk through seasons we cannot walk for them. The world is wide and they will go out to meet it.

But they will only find their way back again and again if we have given them something to come back to.

In the busyness of days the rush of work the noise of life it is so easy to be too busy. Too busy to sit & listen. Too busy to ask the quiet questions. Too busy to simply be with them. Too busy to notice changes in thier lives.

But your attention is their compass. Your patience is their anchor. Your voice your listening ear your steady guidance that is the magnetic field that will always draw them home.

When you pause look them in the eye and truly hear them you are etching their home deep into their hearts. So that no matter how far their minds travel no matter what dangers they face no matter who they meet along the way they know exactly where home is and they know they are always welcome there. Simply pay attention to our young ones.

As we recently concluded our Thrive Together Project we have been deeply moved & truly inspired by the incredible young people we have met right here in Dalton Rotherham. Bright thoughtful full of potential and so many of them simply need a hearing ear. A steady voice. Someone to walk beside them and point the way.

They are looking for their compass. They are looking for their anchor.

That is why we are here. To give Insight4Livin real honest life-giving direction. To listen first then guide. To see them hear them and help them see how far they can truly go. So that none of them wander without a way back. So that all of us parents young people community can THRIVE together.

Thank you to those parents who allowed their children to participate in the Dalton Cup - (more to come). You will definitely notice a difference in your children. We aim to continue to inspire / guide them.

May they travel far dream big & touch the world yet always carry home in their heart and always know the way back.

Day 3 in the books, and what a day it was! 🔥⚽
The turnout? Amazing. The energy? Unmatched. From the cheers to the laughter to the pure football magic on the pitch, you all showed up and showed out.
