We support vulnerable families by providing many of the essentials needed for life with a child 0-5yrs.

Baby Basics has worked in Sheffield since 2009 providing essential baby/toddler equipment to vulnerable families, including but not limited to, teenage mums, those seeking asylum and fleeing domestic abuse and trafficking. We provide clothing, toiletries, equipment, and other essentials needed for life with a new baby. Baby Basics works closely with midwives, health visitors and other agencies to provide a safe, reliable service that people can trust. Our aim is to not only provide some of the essentials needed but to do so in a way that preserves dignity and speaks value to these families.

We have launched our Christmas campaign for gifts!

We absolutely love being able to give gifts to families to ensure they are able to fully celebrate Christmas together.
Can you help us reach our goal of 700 gifts this year?

This week we are going to need more 4-5yr and 5-6yr clothing than we have in stock to fulfil our referrals.
If you have some to bring down we would be really appreciative.

Polite request that items for us are not dumped at reception while we are closed.
The building staff are not responsible for receiving our donations and cannot do this due to health, safety and security.
Not to mention that we do not take next to me cribs and will now have to find a way to dispose of this.

When we are closed we are unable to receive any donations to our building.

Our volunteers had a wonderful time speaking to the ladies at Bread and Roses WI last week.
We are so grateful to them for supporting us not only by finding out more so they can spread the word but also collecting some of our most needed items to donate to us.

We are so grateful for this amazing support and the stock that it provides us with going into our busiest season.
