Sponsor a Smile is a new community support initiative run by Sheppey Pulse Network Charity, designed to help individuals and families who may be struggling financially or facing difficult circumstances.
The idea is simple: a kind-hearted individual, family, local business or organisation can choose to sponsor a family or contribute towards providing practical support to someone in need.
Support doesn't have to be financial. Sponsors can help by donating:
- Money – towards essential items or family support.
- Food – non-perishable groceries and food essentials.
- Toiletries – shampoo, soap, deodorant and personal care products.
- Household essentials – cleaning products, bedding and everyday necessities.
- Children's items – toys, books, clothing and school essentials.
- Seasonal gifts – Christmas presents, Easter treats or birthday gifts.
- Services or experiences – offering a service, activity or experience to bring a little happiness to a family.
The purpose
Sponsor a Smile is about more than donations. It is about bringing people together, offering kindness without judgement and making sure local residents know that their community cares.
Every contribution, big or small, can help make a difficult time a little easier and put a smile on someone's face.
