Today the youth presenters Nico, Jake, Jack and Josh had the pleasure of interviewing Professor Dumbledore, also known as Phil Montague, he was accompanied by Kerry-Jane Deadman. Dumbledore spoke about his love for the community work he does and answered questions about his wizardry and Hogwarts, Phil also spoke about his work as other figures such as Santa and his charity event attendances, he asked the listeners to try and come up with a name for his new 15 year old female wizard apprentice, answers to be put on the back of a check and sent to “Harry Potter, The Cupboard Under The stairs, Number 4 Privet Drive, Surrey.” (Just a little bit of fun) Dumbledore enjoyed listening to AC/DC in the studio too! Kerry spoke of many of the events she is involved with with her partner in organising Lucy Cooper. Including the event at Barton’s Point Tomorrow, which they’re not organising but supporting,, the Men’s talk Event at Sheerness East Working Men’s Club on 25th July and the Event at the Co-op Club on 27th June to help raise money for Sarcoma and Terminally ill Local Girl Luwana James and her family. There were also more including a Christmas event but we will have them back to talk about them closer to the time. Please do come along to these events all for a great cause, meet Professor Dumbledore too and show everyone how fantastic the Sheppey Community is supporting one another, for anymore information please contact the station and we’ll happily answer what we can, or contact Kerry or Lucy directly.

Rylee and Skye joined us on work experience for the week, in that time they have learned how to operate the system, a lot about creative media and the value of community radio and made PSAs on Va**ng and Fake News! They finished the week doing their own show, showing off everything they learned all week. Rylee and Skye, it’s been an absolute pleasure and we know you’ll do well in your futures, well done!
