🎙️ We’re delighted to confirm that the wonderful Julie and her team from Sheppey FM will be joining us at the Rotary Summer Spectacular on Sunday 30th August at Barton’s Point!

Make sure you pop over and say hello, meet the crew, and find out more about the fantastic work Sheppey FM does for our island community. From local news and events to supporting community groups and charities, they play a huge part in keeping Sheppey connected.

🎉 Rotary Summer Spectacular 2026 🎉

The excitement is already building for this year’s Rotary Summer Spectacular, and we’re delighted to say that several local businesses have already approached us about sponsoring the event!

Our website is currently under construction and, once launched, will include a dedicated section recognising and thanking all of our sponsors and donors for their support.

If your business would like to be part of one of the Isle of Sheppey’s biggest family events, we’d love to hear from you. Sponsorship opportunities are available at a range of levels.

We’re also pleased to report that our list of stallholders is growing steadily, with plenty more attractions, charities, food vendors, activities and entertainment still to be announced.

🎉 Exciting News! 🎉

We’ve made a small change to the setup this year to help support the Sheerness Rotary Group and their fantastic work within our community.

The Rotary Summer Spectacular is shaping up to be a fantastic FREE family day out on 30th August 2026 at Barton’s Point!

☀️ Free entry
🎶 Live entertainment
🍔 Food and refreshments
🎪 Activities for all ages
🤝 Local charities and community groups
🎉 Plenty to see and do throughout the day

It’s a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a great day out with family and friends while supporting the organisations that make a real difference across our community.

We’re also looking for businesses and individuals who would like to sponsor the event and help make the day even bigger and better. If you’d like to get involved, please get in touch!

After more than a year of planning, the Summer Spectacular came and went in just a day. But what an event it was—people are still talking about it and likely will be for quite some time.

With record attendance, we raised an incredible £30,000! Each charity kept the funds they raised, and later this month, we’re welcoming several of them back to the Masonic Lodge to present additional donations.

We thank you all for your help, support, and generosity, and we hope to see you all again. Be sure to visit our charities page to learn more about these outstanding organizations and the essential work they do.

It's been a long, tiring week setting up for today, and this afternoon it all came to life! 🌟 Today’s event was the result of dedication and hard work by a small group of Freemasons who came together 16 months ago with a vision. Though not everything always goes as planned, they’ve managed to put on the largest family event the island has seen in years! 🎉🏝️

We won't know the final attendance figures for a few days, but we’re expecting record numbers. From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank the businesses that supported us, the stall holders who joined us, and of course, the charities that this event is all about. 🙏❤️
