🦁 Lenny the Lion Completes His Prostate Cancer Fundraiser

Kelvin Roberts, better known to many as Lenny the Lion, the Sheppey United mascot, has successfully completed an incredible fundraising challenge in support of prostate cancer awareness and research.

Throughout September, Kelvin completed an amazing 480 laps of the Sheppey United ground — that’s 16 laps every night, every day of the month!

Even more impressively, Kelvin has raised a staggering £750 for the charity. Every single lap was completed wearing the Lenny the Lion mascot costume, demonstrating an incredible level of commitment and determination.

Pictured below is Martin Cox, one of our Sheppey FM presenters, who joined him with his son, who plays for the Sheppey United Under-8s.

Kelvin would like to thank everyone who sponsored him, supported him and encouraged him throughout his challenge. Every donation, kind word and bit of encouragement helped him reach his goal.

Well done, Lenny! 🦁👏

You should be incredibly proud of this fantastic accomplishment.

From everyone here at Sheppey FM — congratulations, and thank you for making such a difference! ❤️ Sheppey United FC Sheppey FM 92.2
