Our next Youth Social is coming up! 💬🎯

After a successful first session, we’re excited to welcome young people back for our second Youth Social - a free, relaxed space for 11-18 year olds to connect, unwind, and feel supported.

🗓 Saturday 2nd August | 2-4PM
📍 Sheerness
🎮 Games, snacks, drinks & calm conversation
💛 Supportive adults available throughout
🎟 Free to attend - booking required

Whether your young person came to the first session or this is all new to them, they’ll be welcomed just as they are.

We have some incredible upcoming workshops running at Heather House Community Cafe soon!

The first one being this Wednesday 23rd July, running between 12-3pm.

Where we will be exploring the concept of identity and what it means to us as individuals. Through painting and craft we will create some images and items that reflect how we feel about ourselves as individuals.

All are welcome to join us, but must contact Heather House community cafe to book a space.

Looking forward to seeing what artwork we can create this time~

We will be at Swale Pride this Saturday with our community arts stall!

Come join our LGBT+ lead team for some free crafty shenanigans where we will be making pride masks, pronoun pins as well as having our community art boards to decorate.

We shall also have some fundraising activities for those who wish to donate and support us too. We have guess the foxes name, a raffle to win some great prizes donated by our members or have a go on the tombola to perhaps win something.

It's going to be a fun day of celebration and community and we can't wait to see you all there~

All set up this morning for a peaceful open air art session at Elmley nature reserve~

A beautiful collaboration opportunity has been created with Elmley Nature reserve as part of their community funding pot. Elmley have invited us to bring our art equipment along for the morning of the 14th of July to do some open air art amongst their beautiful wilderness. Spots for this are limited so if you would like to join us please message to reserve your space.

On the day we will be setting up in specific spaces and doing some landscape drawings, trying to capture the unique imagery that the nature reserve holds. Areas that include the vast open marshes to the soft seashore that wraps around the area, and even including our two famous bridges off in the distance. A unique opportunity to paint or sketch the industrial meeting the rural at Elmley. Or explore the past agricultural links by painting or sketching the natural plants, birds and animals that call Elmley home.

This is open to all artists regardless of skill level. Come along and join us for a peaceful morning at Elmley. Don't forget to bring a packed lunch for a picnic after the painting/sketching~
