A quick recap on Centre’s annual Here Comes The Sun Festival ☀️

Shoutout to all the incredible acts who performed last month. It was an incredible day and we can’t wait to host the festival next year in 2026!

Definitely a day to remember filled with music and community spirit.

Saturday 5th September, 12pm–4pm right here at Rising Sun Arts Centre!

Teaming up with Reading Qu**rs for Palestine and our monthly Art Market, we’re throwing a, low-key alternative to the big festival chaos.

It’s a quieter, safer space for the sober, the closeted, the stealth, or anyone who just wants to hang out without massive crowds and cameras.

Tickets: Free entry, but booking via TicketSource is essential (link in bio).

Details: All vegetarian, zero pressure, full accessibility info and Code of Conduct on the ticket link.

Accessible, queer-centred, trans-inclusive, allies welcome, sober-friendly.

No photographers or cameras, no big crowds, no loud music. Social activities and board games available Bring coins to pay it forward at the bar (any spare change - £2 for tea, coffee or soft drinks). Masking encouraged (this won't be enforced).
