The wonderful volunteers from Berkshire Freemasons were out again today for the South Hill Park annual Festival of Food & Music. Once again assisting the organisers with car marshalling. But we do also get to see the brilliant show that’s been put on this year. If you’d like to know more about freemasonry and how it helps in our communities come and say hi! Don’t wait to be asked.

Our Berkshire Freemasonry volunteers are at South Hill Park all this weekend helping with the Festival of Food & Music. We were delighted to meet both Mayors. Did you know that Bracknell has two Mayors?

Pictured are the Mayor of Bracknell Forest, Councillor Peter Frewer AND the Mayor of Bracknell Town, Councillor Kathleen Nugent. Amongst the others you will see Paul Thomsett the Assistant Leader of Berkshire Freemasons and Peter Hopkins the Charity steward for Berkshire Freemasons. We’re sure you also spot other people you recognise in the photo too.

Our Berkshire Freemasonry volunteers are out today and tomorrow at the South Hill Park annual Food & Music Festival. Car park marshalling keeps the traffic flowing and is a service to the community and we working positively with a local charity.

South Hill Park annual Food & Music Festival is running this Saturday and Sunday from midday to 6pm both days. Our Berkshire Freemasonry volunteers are carrying out car park stewarding duties. It was a bit of a changeable weather start to our day!

Over both days we have a pool of 20 volunteers who are taking the car marshalling weight off the organisers. We have two gazebos at the site. One as a shelter for our volunteers and our larger one on the Terrace outside the main Arts Centre. Where you can also find out more about Freemasonry. Don’t wait to be asked.

The Festival is free, but parking is £10 per car (unless you’ve booked in advance). Which goes to the South Hill Trust to help with their work through the year.

Proud to see the incredible impact being made across Berkshire communities through the work of The Berkshire Masonic Charity.

In Spring 2026 alone, over £24,000 has been distributed to support 12 local organisations and initiatives — from therapy centres and youth support programmes to deaf children’s education, emergency family assistance, community arts, swimming accessibility, and remembrance projects in Windsor.

Freemasonry is not only about tradition and fellowship — it is also about making a real difference where it matters most: in our local communities.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in supporting these causes and helping Berkshire Freemasonry continue its charitable mission.

The Provincial Team had a fantastic time on our official visit yesterday to Khalsa Lodge. It was a wonderful evening marked by superb triple Initiation ceremony, great warmth, and brilliant fellowship at the festive board! 🍻✨

A huge thank you to the Worshipful Master, Officers, and all the Brethren of Khalsa Lodge for such a spectacular welcome and a highly memorable night.
