Celebrating New Year 2083 with Unity & Heritage! 🇳🇵✨

A heartfelt thank you to the Greater Reading Nepalese Community Association (GRNCA) for hosting a wonderful New Year शुभकामना साँझ. It was a proud moment for Pasa Puchah Guthi UK, Reading to support GRNCA and ensure the Newah community was vibrantly represented within the wider Reading Nepalese family. 🤝❤️

Our deepest gratitude goes to our dedicated participants, exec team and members of PPG UK who represented us so beautifully. From the sacred presence of the Kumari to the soulful Basuri melodies played by our talented youth, you brought the true essence of our culture to the stage. 👑🎶

It is inspiring to see our community come together to support one another and pass these traditions down to the next generation. Thank you to everyone who showed up to represent PPGUK Reading and make the night a success! 🏮🙌

A Vibrant Celebration of Newa Heritage in Aldershot! 🇳🇵✨

A heartfelt thank you to Pasa Pucha Guthi UK, Aldershot, for hosting such an incredible Newah Bhoye at Tamudhi Hall. It was an honour for our Pasa Puchah Guthi UK, Reading, to be part of this beautiful event, joining hands with the wider Pasa Puchah Guthi, UK Chapters to celebrate and preserve our Newa traditions. 🏮🙏

We were particularly proud to elevate the event with the presence of the Kumari, presented by our Reading representatives. Witnessing this sacred tradition take centre stage was a powerful moment for everyone there. 👑🙌

A Vibrant Showcase of Nepal at the Ashmolean! 🇳🇵✨

​A massive thank you to our performers and the entire PPGUK Reading team for the heart you put into the One World Festival at the Ashmolean. It was a privilege to perform alongside so many other Nepalese groups and share the stage with different cultures from around the world. Seeing our heritage woven into such a diverse global celebration was a truly special moment for all of us.

​Huge thanks to Deepa Shrestha Thapa, Chair of the Oxfordshire Nepalese Community UK, for her hard work in organizing this 1-hour showcase and giving our community the space to shine together. 🇳🇵✨

Pasa Puchah Guthi UK, Reading , held its 16th Annual General Meeting today. It was a wonderful opportunity to share our progress and highlight the activities and achievements of 2025.

A heartfelt thank you to our Executive Team for their continuous dedication and hard work, and to our Advisory Board for their invaluable guidance and support.

We look forward to even more meaningful activities and continued progress in 2026.

लन्डन इन्द्रजात्रा (येन्या पुन्हि) भनेको बेलायतमा नेवार समुदायले आयोजना गर्ने महान् सांस्कृतिक पर्व हो । यो नेपाल, विशेष गरी काठमाडौं उपत्यकाको ऐतिहासिक इन्द्रजात्राको झल्को दिने गरी बेलायतमा पुनःनिर्माण गरिएको हो।✨ मुख्य आकर्षणहरू • कुमारी, भैरव र गणेशका रथयात्रा • मुखौटे नाचहरू – पुलुकीसी (हात्तीको नाच), लाखे नाच आदि • धिमे बाजा र नेवारी सांगीतिक प्रस्तुति • संस्कृतिक विधिहरू – समाये बाजी, हातु द्यः (मदिरा विधि), परम्परागत पूजा • बालबालिकाका लागि कथा–संवाद कार्यक्रम⸻🏮 ऐतिहासिक पृष्ठभूमिनेपालमा मनाइने इन्द्रजात्रा हिन्दू देवता इन्द्रलाई समर्पित महान् पर्व हो । काठमाडौं उपत्यकामा आठ दिनसम्म चल्ने यस पर्वमा रथयात्रा, मुखौटे नाच, र जीवित देवी कुमारीलाई रथमा बसालेर परिक्रमा गरिन्छ।लन्डनमा यसको आयोजना गर्नुको उद्देश्य भनेको विदेशमा बसोबास गर्ने नेवार/नेपाली समुदायलाई आफ्नै संस्कृतिसँग जोड्ने र भावी पुस्तालाई परम्परा हस्तान्तरण गर्ने हो।
