For people with ADHD, it’s almost a bit of a cliché the idea that a to-do list is going to be the answer to all of life’s problems.

Often, we make to-do lists upon to-do lists until they pile up on the bedside cabinet alongside a collection of dirty glasses.

But to-do lists can be an effective tool for managing productivity. One of the most common mistakes when making a to-do list is making the list so long that it becomes overwhelming, to the point that we don’t know where to start.

If you are finding it difficult to get started on a too-do list, the changes are too complicated or too large.

West Berkshire Council is inviting people who live in the area, and professionals working in social care, to have their say in a consultation about its draft Adult Social Care Strategy for 2026 to 2030.
The draft strategy sets out the council's priorities to support adults who rely on care and support services, and aims to give residents and those who support them a clear understanding of what is planned for the period covered by the strategy.

The survey is open until Monday, June 22.
