What a day! 🌸 Our Summer Show on Saturday was a true celebration of the incredible talent right here in our community. Seeing the hall packed with visitors and stunning exhibits was absolutely heartwarming.

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers who made it possible. Also thanks to Winnersh Garden Centre for donating a fantastic raffle prize! 🎁

We were also delighted to welcome representatives from Charvil Piggott Primary, Colleton Primary, and Polehampton Infant School. We were proud to present each of them with £200, raised by our members during our March Quiz Night, to support their wonderful school gardening projects! Thank you to all our members for your incredible generosity. 🍎🌱

Join us this Saturday, June 13th, at 2 PM at Loddon Hall for a celebration of local creativity! Explore a traditional village show featuring the best of Twyford, Ruscombe, and beyond. 🌹 🎨

Beyond the exhibits, treat yourself to some delicious homemade cakes, teas, coffees, and ice cream! 🍰☕🍦

We are also thrilled to host representatives from Charvil Piggott Primary, Colleton Primary, and Polehampton Infant School as we officially present them with the funds raised during our March Quiz Night for their gardening projects! 🏫💙

🌼 Summer Show entries still open! 🌼

You have until 7pm on Wednesday 10th to enter online.

It’s super easy: www.trha.org.uk/html/shows.php
Choose your classes, submit, and you’ll receive instant confirmation. Fees (30p per adult class item) are paid on Saturday morning.

Set‑up runs 9–10.45am on Saturday 13th, and the Show opens to visitors 2–4pm.

Members with plots on the Hurst Road allotments should take note of the following message from the TATA, the allotment association

The skip at Hurst Road allotments is now completely full!

Our apologies, but we can't accept any further allotment rubbish.
"SKIP FULL" signs are now posted on the skip.

TATA skip rota volunteers will continue to keep an eye on the skip to ensure that the skip is not over-filled until it is picked up.

We hope that you were able to dispose of some rubbish from your plots.

No matter your experience, we invite everyone to compete! Whether you’re a pro or just starting out, there’s something for you in our horticulture, baking, art, craft, and photography categories. Plus, we have plenty of fun classes specifically for children, so get the whole family involved.

📍 In-person: Drop your paper entry form & fees to Beauty in Blooms (Twyford) by 4:30pm, Wednesday, June 10th.

💻 Online: Enter via smartphone, tablet, or PC directly from the Shows page of our website by 7pm, Wednesday, June 10th.

Calling all parents of 3-to-6-year-olds! 🎨

​Get your little ones involved in our Summer Show on Saturday, June 13th! We have several fun children’s classes, including "Class 223a: The Bee Colouring Challenge" . Entry is completely free, and signing up is quick and easy.

​How to enter:
Download this image (or from our website) for home printing, or pick up a physical copy at our Sunday Store.
​Get creative: Let your child colour their masterpiece on an A4 sheet.
​Register: Sign up easily through our online portal before 7pm on Wednesday 10th.
Finally, bring it to Loddon Hall on the morning of the Show where it will be judged by the Show attendees!

Happy gardening!

🌷 This Sunday, 31st May, we are opening our doors to everyone, members and non-members alike, for our Plant Sale! (Please note: while anyone can shop for plants, the rest of the Store's gardening products remain exclusive to members).

Come down to the Loddon Hall Road Store (next to the GP surgery) between 09:30 AM and 11:00 AM to shop for a range of house, garden, and allotment plants grown locally by our members.🏡🌱

💵 Please bring cash if you can!

🪴 If you are donating plants, please bring them down to the store before we open, and ensure they have a label.

We can't wait to see you! ☀️
