Hurst Horticultural & Cottage Garden Society A village horticultural group with an annual show with horticultural and home industries' exhibits and an afternoon of food, drink and live music.

See website for more details. The Horticultural Show is in August at Hurst Village Halls usually starting at 12.30pm. Should you wish to enter an exhibit, class entry needs to be submitted a few days before the show - all are welcome to enter. On-line entry and payment is available on the website together with more information on class details, rules and guidelines and lots of photographs from previous years. There is a small entry fee, any surplus is donated to various local charities.
