Today, our team gathered to say goodbye to Margaret as she steps into her next chapter.
Having served as the coordinator for our original site at Norcot Pantry, Margaret played a key role in keeping weekly operations organised and supporting our local community.
On behalf of everyone across our charity, please join us in wishing Margaret all the best and good luck for the future! 👏

💛 30 Years of Caring, Serving, and Supporting Our Community 💛
This year, Faith Christian Group celebrates 30 years of providing food, support, and hope to people in need in Reading, through our foodbank, pantries, and outreach to those experiencing homelessness. For three decades, we’ve been here because of the kindness and generosity of people like you.
To honour this milestone, we’re proud to share our new 30th anniversary logo — a symbol of the love, care, and dedication that makes our work possible. A special thank you to on Instagram for creating this design for us. ❤️
As we reflect on 30 years, we are reminded that the need is still here — but so is our community. Together, we can continue making a difference.
💛 You can help: donate, volunteer, or share this post. Every act of support brings hope to someone who needs it.
Here’s to 30 years of compassion — and many more to come.

It’s very special when communities come together. We had a lovely visit from residents of Bupa Parkside Care Home, who shared their homemade cakes for Kindness Day. We hope you’ll come and visit us again!

Honoured to be at the new Mayor of Reading’s inauguration this evening!

We’re proud that Readifood and Reading Pantries have been chosen as her charities of the year for 2025/26. Her support will help shine a light on the growing need in our town.

Readifood delivers emergency food to around 150 households every week.
Reading Pantries support 500+ members with access to affordable food.

Today we held an afternoon tea for some of our volunteers who work in our food pantries. This was our opportunity to say thank you to them for their hard work and to acknowledge what a great job they do.
We have about 100 volunteers across our eight pantries in Reading, serving over 450 members. We couldn't do what we do without them.
Norcot Team - thank you for all you do x
