Friends of Downsway We are the Friends of Downsway Primary School, fundraising through events and activities

Friends of Downsway (FOD) is a group of parents and carers who work with the school to organise fund-raising events. Our aim is to raise money to finance extra projects across the school and to have some fun along the way! We have held many successful fund-raising activities over the years, enhancing the children's school life, whilst raising thousands of pounds at the same time. If you have a chi

ld at the school, then you are automatically a Friend of Downsway. We are always looking for help, enthusiasm and new ideas and would love to see you at one of our meetings or events - please don't be shy! We would like to thank everybody who has helped support the Friends of Downsway events – we couldn’t do it without you! A few group rules:

* Keep discussions positive and focused on our events and fundraising activities
* Use language appropriate for a caring and respectful community
* Please do not post photos of children, or name anyone without their permission
* The page Administrator(s) reserve the right to delete comments that do not follow the guidelines stated above

If your child is one of the lucky winners and finds a gold ticket on the inside of their wrapper - bring it into school or contact us to claim their prize.

🍫To celebrate Downsway’s 50th 'Golden' Anniversary, we are launching the Downsway Golden Jubilee Bar! 🍫

And just like a certain innovative, slightly wacky, chocolate factory owner 🎩 - we have hidden lucky gold tickets in some of the chocolate bars. If you find one, you could win a prize just for you or one for your entire class!

Buy your bars via School Gateway (if ordering multiple bars, you will need to check out 1 at a time, up to a maximum of 4) - they cost £2.50 each.

Order by: 2nd February and everyone will get their Downsway Golden Jubilee Bars on Tuesday 10th February.

Will you find a gold ticket? Good luck!

We will be using Galaxy chocolate bars. However, if your child has allergies, a NOMO bar (nut, dairy, palm oil, soya free) will be available as an alternative. Please ensure you clearly indicate any allergies when placing your order. Contact us to discuss alternatives if needed.
