Calling all Craft Master Masons and Mark Master Masons. Our small, friendly and fun lodge would welcome you all as new members. We are a relaxed lodge and progression through the lodge will be at your own pace. We meet and dine at the Caversham Masonic Centre (details in link below).

Francesca, the daughter of Julian Townsend (Provincial Grand Master of Nottinghamshire Freemasons), ran the Sherwood Pines Half Marathon on the 15 March 2026 in support of the the Province's 2029 MCF Festival, and raised over £2,200!

Several volunteers from the Berkshire Freemasons were out and very visible helping to keep the public safe during the Reading Half Marathon today. The group of Freemasons had volunteered to help Marshall a section of the course on behalf of one of the charities taking part in the race.

Over 10,000 runners took part today. Starting at Green Park, navigating the roads into and through Reading and back out to the Reading football stadium.

The volunteers did a sterling job, keeping the public and the runners safe with their management of both the pedestrians and the traffic whilst sporting their hi-vis vests 🦺🦺
