It’s the 25th anniversary of the club today. We had a ton of fun on dragon boats, trying out racing k1s and enjoying a picnic.

The junior session joined a paddle down to Sonning so Aria could try her new boat.

Of course, it would have been rude not to have a play in the water at the end.

There’s no better time to practise rescues than a warm summer day. Today head coach Amie gave a masterclass in rescue skills as part of a Paddle UK Paddlesport Safety and Rescue Course.

Aria, from the club junior section got to try rescues for the first time, needless to say, she’s hooked!

Junior section joined the adults for a marathon paddle down the Thames. As paddling skilks and stamina increase, so do opportunities to go on longer adventures with the club.

St Patricks stream was their first experience in faster flowing water. After 10km a burger in Wargrave was just the ticket!

Junior seasions run on the 3rd Sunday of the month and aim to help younger paddlers develop the skill and fitness to integrate into the adult club. If your child is interested please contact [email protected] #@
