“Am I doing enough?”

This might be one of the hardest questions SEND parents ask themselves.

Am I doing enough?

Should I be pushing for more support?

Should I be doing more at home?

Have I asked the right questions?

Am I making the right decisions?

What if I get something wrong?

And perhaps the biggest one…

“Will my child be okay?”

There isn’t a perfect SEND parent.

There is a parent who is showing up, advocating, learning, loving and trying — even on the days when it doesn’t feel like enough.

At SEND Mums Club, our support isn’t only about children.

It’s also about helping parents feel heard, informed, supported and more confident in the decisions they’re making for their family.

🌈 You don’t need to know everything. And you don’t have to do everything alone.

😳🌈 “Supporting learning at home can feel overwhelming.”

You want to help.

But sometimes you just don’t know how.

Homework ends in tears.
They struggle to concentrate.
Something you’ve explained five different ways still isn’t making sense.
They’ll happily work with someone at school — but absolutely not with you! 😩

And before long, everyone is frustrated.

At SEND Mums Club, we don’t expect parents to suddenly become teachers, therapists or SEND specialists.

We can help you understand your child’s learning needs and provide personalised, practical support that fits your child and your family.

The aim isn’t to turn home into another classroom.

It’s to help learning feel more achievable, positive and successful. 💚

🌈💜 “Behaviour at home can be really hard.”

Sometimes home is where everything comes out.

Big emotions. Meltdowns. Frustration. Shouting. Tears. Refusal.

And when you’re the person trying to hold everything together, it can be emotionally exhausting.

You may find yourself wondering:

“Am I responding in the right way?”
“Why does this keep happening?”
“Why are they okay elsewhere but struggling so much at home?”
“What am I supposed to do in the moment?”

At SEND Mums Club, we look beyond simply trying to “stop” a behaviour.

We help families think about the individual child, their needs and what may be happening around them, before considering appropriate support.

Because there’s rarely a one-size-fits-all answer.

💗 You don’t have to manage the difficult days alone.

“What does all this paperwork mean?”

EHCP. SEN Support. Provision. Outcomes. Assessments. Reports. Reviews…

Sometimes SEND comes with what feels like an entirely new language.

Then come the forms, letters, reports, meetings and deadlines — all while you’re trying to work out:

“What does this actually mean for my child?”

It can feel confusing, especially when different professionals are telling you different things.

At SEND Mums Club, we can help parents make sense of the information in front of them, understand the processes they’re navigating and feel more confident about their next steps.

You don’t need to understand everything before asking for help.

That’s what we’re here for. 🌈

🌈“Am I asking the right questions at school meetings?”

Have you ever walked out of a school meeting and thought…

“I wish I’d asked that.”
“Did I explain things properly?”
“Do they really understand my child?”
“What happens now?”

When you’re emotionally invested in the person everyone is discussing, meetings can feel very different.

And if you’re unfamiliar with SEND terminology, processes or what questions you can ask, it can be difficult to feel confident speaking up.

At SEND Mums Club, we can support parents to feel more informed and better prepared when communicating with schools and professionals.

Sometimes you don’t need someone to take over.

You just need someone in your corner helping you make sense of things. 💗

💜 “We know being a SEND parent is overwhelming a lot of the time.”

Being a SEND parent can mean carrying so much more than people see.

Appointments. School meetings. Paperwork. Research. Waiting lists. Phone calls. Advocating. Supporting your child at home.

And somewhere amongst all of that… everyday family life still has to happen.

Sometimes you might feel like you’re constantly thinking about what needs doing next — and still wondering whether you’re doing enough.

At SEND Mums Club, we understand that supporting a child with SEND also means supporting the people around them.

We’re here to offer a listening ear, practical guidance and personalised support — without judgement and without expecting you to have all the answers.

💗 You don’t have to navigate SEND alone.

💗 “Little things can feel really big”

Something that seems small to us can feel enormous to a child.

A change of plan.
Getting something wrong.
Being told “no”.
A difficult piece of work.
Not being understood.
Something not happening in the way they expected.

And sometimes the behaviour we see on the outside doesn’t tell us the whole story about what’s happening underneath.

At SEND Mums Club, we want children to feel understood, valued and successful.

We take time to understand the individual child and consider their confidence, communication, emotional needs and experiences — rather than simply focusing on the behaviour we’re seeing.

Because every child is different.

And their support should be too. 🌈

💚 If this sounds familiar, you don’t need to have all the answers before contacting us.

🚪 “Why are transitions so hard?”

“Just five more minutes…”

Leaving the park. Going to school. Getting dressed. Stopping an activity. Going somewhere unfamiliar. Bedtime. Even moving from one classroom to another.

For some children, transitions can be really hard.

And when we only see the reaction, it’s easy to miss how much uncertainty or overwhelm may have built up beforehand.

At SEND Mums Club, we recognise that transitions look different for every child.

Rather than expecting the child to simply “get used to it”, we start by understanding what makes that particular transition difficult for them.

From there, support can be built around the individual child, their needs and their circumstances.

💚 Bespoke support. No one-size-fits-all approach.

🌈 If transitions are becoming difficult for your child or your family, let’s have a conversation.

“But we literally did this yesterday… and they knew it!” 😩

If you’ve ever found yourself thinking this, you’re certainly not the only parent.

Your child learns the sound.
They recognise the word.
They remember the number.

👏 Brilliant!

Then you come back to it another day and suddenly…

it’s gone.

That can be frustrating for the child and the adult supporting them.

But learning isn’t always a straight line.

Some children need more repetition, different ways of experiencing information or a completely different route into learning.

That’s why SEND Mums Club doesn’t offer a one-size-fits-all programme.

We get to know the individual child and build support around how they learn best. 💚

🌈 Wondering whether we could help your child?

📝Sometimes what looks like “I don’t want to” might actually mean “This is really hard for me.”

Writing involves so much more than knowing what you want to say.

For some children, holding and controlling a pencil, forming letters, organising their thoughts and physically getting those ideas onto paper can require enormous effort.

And when something feels difficult again and again, confidence can disappear very quickly.

At SEND Mums Club, we look beyond the finished piece of work.

We look at the child behind it.

Our support is individually planned around your child’s strengths, needs, confidence and starting point — because there is no single approach that works for every child. 🌈
