Come and meet Plymouth Archaeology Society - PAS on Saturday at The Gansey and Sardine Festival where we will have a table with a display of our 17th century finds from the rescue dig at Commercial Wharf ( by the Mayflower Steps) where the event is being held. Don't miss the parade at 10.30am. Main event 11am - 4pm

GANSEY GATHERING + SARDINE FESTIVAL.
Commercial Wharf
Lots of entertainment and family fun.
Plymouth Archaeology Society will have a table display of the 17th century finds from Commercial Wharf all tied in with the fishing industry and it's connections to Western Europe, the Mediterranean and New Foundland.
Come and see the star bead from Murano, the fabulous lion faces on stoneware from Germany; we have delftware, pottery from Montelupo as well as earthenware from Devon and Somerset, and much more. Every sherd tells a story!
See you there!
