Hi all, a reminder for the final Pollenize Bioblitz event this Saturday, 29th August at Devonport Park 10:30 -13:00. 🐝🌼🐝🌼

We will be joining Pollenize to do chalking and plant identification and there's a Friends of Devonport Park event on too, so there will be lots happening on the day, so come along. 🙂

Thank you to Alexander Dowding who mentioned the recommended soil area measurements for urban trees, in our previous post. We have researched this and found a useful 4-minute podcast, which highlights the fundamental requirements of urban trees to grow healthily. Listening to it, I think you may feel the same, that many town councils are not putting these considerations into practice.
