THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH (MILFORD LANE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that Plymouth City Council acting under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), have made an Order the effect of which is:
1. To prohibit the driving:
โข Milford Lane โ from the junction of Tamerton Foliot Road to the junction of Norwich Avenue
Diversion: Tamerton Foliot Road, Budshead Road, Milford Lane
The restrictions are proposed to undertake essential urgent highway works to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising, facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians), and to preserve or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
The prohibition of driving will be in operation on the days and during the hours that the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
The Order shall come into force on 12th March 2024
It is anticipated that the tree removal works shall commence on the 12th March 2024 09:30 โ 16:00 only
