Dear families and colleagues,

The next Plymouth CHSWG will be held virtually on Friday 8th March at 1.30pm.

I am delighted to say that Counsellor Tess Blight has become the first Champion for d/Deaf Children and Young People in Plymouth- and will be attending the next CHSWG along with MP Luke Pollard.

CHSWG has also recently met with the NDCS team to ensure that we as a group feedback on the recent Plymouth OFSTED and the provision for d/Deaf children and young people in Plymouth.

CHSWG highly recommends that families attend the next virtual Plymouth PCV event regarding any gaps in service for your children- the link is below:

Father Christmas has been extremely busy meeting you all since his BSL grotto opened last week! 🎅

As always, we pride ourselves on making our events as accessible as possible, which is why we're working closely with the Deaf Academy to bring a welcoming experience to those who are hard of hearing. Father Christmas is well-versed in BSL and will be able to communicate with you or your little ones using sign language, so everyone can enjoy the magic of Christmas at the Castle! 👌
