Another fun session at tonight’s Disability Inclusion group with Perth Strathtay Harriers 👏🏻👏🏻🎽

A wee bit of endurance running, sprints and soft ball throw were on offer for all to enjoy 😅

Perth & Kinross Disability Sport are delighted to invite women and girls of all ages with a physical or learning disability, visual impairment, hearing loss, or related conditions to our 2026 Women & Girls in Sport Come & Try Festival.

🗓️ 11 October 2026
⏰ 11am-4pm
📍 Academy of Sport and Wellbeing, UHI Perth
💰 No cost to participate

Working in partnership with inclusive local community sports clubs and organisations, including LAL Sports Development, this event offers the opportunity to explore a variety of sports and physical activities in a friendly, welcoming, and supportive environment.

Our aim is to encourage more women and girls to get involved in sport and physical activity, celebrate participation at all levels, and help break down the barriers that can lead to lower activity rates among women and girls.

As with all our activities, there is no cost to participate 😀

Congratulations to Perth Eagles Boccia player, Alex Medley who was again in the medals 🤩 This time, winning the silver medal at the Scottish Boccia Open Championships (World Boccia Classes) over the weekend in Edinburgh 🔴🔵

Well done to our PKDS referees who were part of the officiating team 👏🏻 Great to see Catherine Carruthers, Stewart Lobban, Graeme Doig and Sue Harper refereeing so many paralympians and national squad players from across the UK 👏🏻👏🏻

Perth & Kinross Disability Sport, in partnership with Glenearn Badminton Club and BADMINTONscotland are delighted to invite entries from across Scotland to our Fair City Games 2026 Perth & Kinross Disability Sport Badminton Championships 🏸🏸🏸

The Perth & Kinross Disability Sport Fair City Games include a series of Sports events for people with disabilities to get involved in throughout the year - these include Athletics, Archery, Badminton, Boccia, Lawn Bowls, Curling, Table Tennis, SOMA, Wheelchair Basketball and Swimming.

There will be seven sections of the competition.
🏸 A - Open Class for Players who use a wheelchair.
🏸 B - Players with an ambulant Physical Disability - Half Court
🏸 C - Players with an ambulant Physical Disability - Full Court
🏸 D - Open Class for Players with a Learning Disability (please provide player rating) - three Divisions based on player ability.
🏸 E - Open Class for Short Stature Players
