World Mental Health Day 2026 💜
The theme is: Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices - Real Change.

For women experiencing domestic abuse, being listened to, believed and understood can make a huge difference to their mental health and wellbeing.
Today, we’re listening to women’s voices and recognising the importance of their experiences in shaping the support and change that’s needed.
Real voices. Real change. 💜

Ahead of World Mental Health Day tomorrow, our team have been given some time this afternoon to focus on their own wellbeing and mental health.

This Friday, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to all the incredible women who give so much every single day to support women and children experiencing and recovering from domestic abuse. Many of the team bring their own lived experience of domestic abuse to their work, making the care and understanding they offer even more meaningful.

Ladies, your compassion, dedication and kindness make a real difference to the lives of others. We know how important self-care is, and remind everyone that you deserve the same care and kindness you give to others. 💜

A gentle reminder that support is available outside our operational hours through the 24-hour Helpline on 0800 027 1234.
Please remember, you are never alone. 💜

Thursday Thank the Funders!
Today we are sending a huge and heartfelt thank you to The National Lottery Community Fund. Their funding helps us deliver vital support from our office base in Perth and out in communities across Perthshire, reaching women, children and families when they need it most.
Thank you for standing alongside us and helping make this work possible.

Change starts with all of us. Every conversation, every choice and every time we challenge harmful behaviour can help end violence against women and girls.
Take a look at Police Scotland's That Guy campaign and discover how men can use their influence to make a positive difference.

Speak up. Challenge it. Be part of the change.

A huge thank you to B&Q for their kindness and generosity in donating items to help make our garden a more therapeutic and welcoming space for the women, children, young people and our team.
A special thank you to the amazing B&Q Perth team members, who gave up their time to be hard at work building the shed, weeding and planting! 🔨🌱💜

We’re so grateful to everyone helping us create something truly special. 🌻
