Last night Liz and I collected an award from the IHSGB as organisers of the Scottish Open, we are very happy to have collected this but it is in recognition of all the people who get on board every year, judge, volunteers, writers, runners, sponsors and riders - without whom we would not have had the opportunity to share the joy of icelandics.
Thankyou

Its with sadness The Scottish Open Event has lost a great supporter Janice . Generous, forthright and impassioned about the Icelandic Horse. We will always owe Janice and Tim a debt of gratitude and we are thinking of Tim at this time .

The photograph is from the BCs held at West Tarf in 2011 and Janice was giving sound advice on dealing with nerves "just enjoy your horse."
