But with this access come responsibility! Remember to follow the Scottish Outdoor Access Code when climbing outdoors ⬇️

1. Respect the interests of other people
2. Care for the environment
3. Take responsibility for your own actions

We are pleased to welcome Jonny Lowit to our team as the new ClimbScotland Head Coach 👋

Jonny grew up in Aberdeenshire and has been climbing for over 10 years. He first developed his passion for the sport in the Cairngorms National Park, following in the footsteps of his grandfather and exploring crags such as Lochnagar and Dubh Loch 🧗‍♀️

His stoke for climbing quickly expanded across all disciplines, and he's travelled the world, climbing several of the US Top 50 classic climbs.

Based in the North East of Scotland, Jonny focuses on performance coaching and increasing participation in the sport. He works closely with the Scottish Development and National squads, with a particular interest in the mental side of climbing and applying psychological approaches to coaching and competition.
