Stone Preachers are a dynamic Celtic rock/pop/country band hailing from the Dundee area, known for their electrifying performances and a sound that fuses traditional Scottish spirit and bagpipes with contemporary energy. Formed in 2021 by frontman Graham Brown - lead vocalist, songwriter, and master of the bagpipes and acoustic guitar - the band blends soaring melodies, powerful rhythms, and heartfelt storytelling to create music that resonates deeply with audiences 🎙🎸
The lineup includes Kyle Brown on lead guitar, Colin Cattanach on bass and vocals, Norma Ritchie on piano and keyboards, Steve Hanlon on drums and vocals and Neil Paterson on bagpipes and whistles. Together, they channel a wide range of influences from Runrig, The Corries, and Wolfstone, to Pink Floyd and Frankie Miller into a sound that is both rooted in tradition and boldly original 🥁
Stone Preachers have released a full-length album and several singles, all available on major streaming platforms including Spotify and iTunes. Their performances have graced major festivals and prestigious events, including appearances for the First Minister of Scotland and international Celtic celebrations 🏛
