It was a lovely morning outside in the FYF garden with Dad's Group in Paisley. We had a visit from Donna, to chat with us about the Skoobmobile and to ask our families what services would be most helpful for them. We also played with some outdoor toys, enjoyed some yummy snacks, played on the swings, made a chalk pavement activity course, sang songs and read a story with Bookbug, had great fun shaking the lycra & finished with some bubbles 🫧

Across five relaxed and friendly sessions, you’ll have the opportunity to:

💛 Spend time thinking about and connecting with your unborn baby
🧠 Discover how babies develop and learn before and after birth
🌱 Build confidence as you prepare for parenthood
💬 Meet other expectant parents and share experiences
🤝 Grow your support network in a welcoming, non-judgemental space

Plenty of giggles at Family Group this morning as the kids explored scooping & pouring sensory play. The best bit was making the rice jump on the tray!
The ball pit was also a hit, and bouncing some teddies on top of our sparkly lycra.
We also looked at making a large visual of our Group Promise, which we have to make sure that our groups are a safe & welcoming space for all.

These prestigious awards celebrate organisations and businesses that are making a real difference across Inverclyde. We were especially proud to hear that the calibre of entries this year was exceptionally high, making this recognition even more meaningful.

We welcomed lots of new friends to our Renfrewshire Family Group today. The kids enjoyed playing with the toys, while the grown ups discussed our Group Promise. We enjoyed a snack together before spending some time with Bookbug - singing songs, reading a story and playing with the sparkly lycra. Top marks to all newbies for joining in with the songs and actions 🤩

First day back for our Parents Group today. We discussed our group rules and planned activities for the next 6 weeks.
After we enjoyed our snacks of toast, fruit and yoghurt, we played a 'getting to know you quiz'.
Finished our session today with some bookbug lullabies. Great to be back! 😃

Our volunteers offer practical help and emotional support – whether that’s:
✔ Listening and being a reassuring presence
✔ Helping parents build confidence and routines
✔ Supporting families with additional support needs
✔ Encouraging play and positive experiences for children

✨ No special qualifications needed, just parenting or caring experience, a little time, and a heart for helping others.
We’ll provide full training, ongoing development, and a warm, connected community.
