🏆 We are absolutely delighted and honoured to have been named Charity Champion of the Year at last night's Greenock Telegraph Community Champion Awards! 🏆

Congratulations to all of the winners, finalists and nominees. The evening was a wonderful celebration of the amazing community spirit that exists across Inverclyde and the difference that can be made when people come together to support one another.

We were proud to share our category with two fantastic organisations, Compassionate Inverclyde : Capturing moments that matter
and Inverclyde Muslim Centre, whose contribution to our community is truly inspiring.

A huge thank you to Caledonian MacBrayne for sponsoring the Charity Champion of the Year category and to the judges for selecting Home-Start Inverclyde as this year's winner.

While we are incredibly proud to receive this award, it really belongs to the people who make HSRI what it is. Thank you to our dedicated staff, volunteers and trustees whose kindness, dedication and commitment to families shines through every single day.

Thank you to the families who trust us to walk alongside them during some of life's most challenging times. It is truly a privilege to be welcomed into your lives.❤️

As we celebrate our 25th anniversary year, this recognition feels particularly special. We know that no organisation achieves anything alone and we are grateful to our partners, supporters, funders and wider community who continue to believe in and champion our work.

Session 4 of the wellness fitness class completed today in Inverclyde. Today everyone chose their own circuit and pushed themselves to beat their personal best time

Today at Wellbeing Group, we reflected on our time spent at group this year. We chatted about our initial feelings when we first started group, to how we feel today. We then used these to created a sunny artwork for our room ☀️🎨

💪 Tough Mudder !! 💪

A huge congratulations and thank you to John and the team at DFS for completing a Tough Mudder UK fundraiser for us 🧡💜

This challenge looks fun and tough (pun intended) in equal measure!

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who took part, pushing themselves physically and mentally to get though this muddy challenge, all to support local babies, children and their families to thrive.

Today at Busy Bees Family group in The B-Hive in Port Glasgow we were practicing our hand and eye co-ordination catching fish. We dipped strawberries and apples in chocolate they were delicious. We also made Fathers day paintings. We enjoyed pancakes, fruit,yoghurt and a drink together.

🧡 Thank you Kilmacolm Tennis Club 🧡

Yesterday Freda from Kilmacolm Tennis Club popped into our Greenock office with an incredible donation of £1,650 🤩

Back in March the club hosted a Quiz/Curry/Awards night and fundraised for -Start Renfrewshire & Inverclyde 🤩

All funds raised will go directly to supporting families to thrive by supporting parents to be confident and give their children the best start in life 💜

As continues this is our reminder that babies and small children are most likely to drown at home in the bath or in the garden.

That's why our key message is to keep them in arm’s reach in water.

Many parents mistakenly believe bath seats will keep their baby safe, with potentially tragic consequences.

Card making and planting seeds in Parents Group today. Lots of good chat as we enjoyed our toast, pancakes and fruit.
We got so involved with Bookbug that we forgot to take some pics 😀.
