Linwood War Memorial Association Local campaign to have a war memorial erected in Linwood. There have been previous attempts to have a memorial erected to recognise them.

Young men and women from Linwood have lost their lives in the many conflicts of war, yet no memorial exists to them within Linwood. Its time we tried again.

Our site has more dead, dying or diseased trees than healthly ones. The ones that are unsafe will need to come down, but a dead tree can be a biodiversity hotspot that supports forest wildlife through decomposition over decades. Felled or not, they will support the ecosystem we are trying to improve.
