💛 You are warmly invited to Motherkind Café tomorrow morning 💛
Motherhood can be wonderful, but it can also be incredibly hard at times. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, isolated, anxious, exhausted, or simply in need of some adult conversation, we’d love to welcome you.
You don’t need a diagnosis.
You don’t need a referral.
You don’t need to be in crisis.
You just need the connection of other mums who understand how tough things can be.
Motherkind Café is a safe, friendly space where you can meet other mums, share as much or as little as you’d like, enjoy a cuppa, and know that you’re not alone.
🕥 Friday | 10:15–11:45am📍 Flo’s Pavilion, Florence Park, Oxford
Babies and little ones are always welcome 👶☕
Come exactly as you are. We’ll save you a seat.
🌼 Because no mum should have to do this alone.

Hope to see you Friday morning for our feeding Q&A x

We're back after half term, and this week we are really excited to welcome specialist midwife Tamara Lotz, who will be available to answer any and all questions related to feeding.

Tamara has been a qualified midwife for 8 years and currently works on the JR Infant Feeding Team. She decided to specialise in infant feeding after her son was born in 2019. She saw how much difference the right information and access to timely support could make to people's experience of feeding their babies.

Flo's has also re-opened so we are back in our usual location - 10:15 to 11:45am

🌿 Motherkind Café – Half Term Notice 🌿

Just a little note to let our lovely mums know that Motherkind Café will be closed for Half Term ☕💛

We hope you have a gentle week ahead—whether it’s filled with adventures, snacks, surviving the chaos, extra cuddles, or simply getting through one day at a time!

We’ll be back soon with warm drinks, friendly faces, and a welcoming space to connect and be supported.

Until then, please remember to be kind to yourself too — motherhood doesn’t stop for half term 💕

We look forward to seeing you again soon 🌼

Hope to see you this morning in the Pavilion at Flo's.

We're excited to welcome back Sarah Wardley, a Cognitive Behaviour Therapist (CBT) with a professional background as both a Midwife and Health Visitor. Sarah specialises in supporting new parents as they navigate the often challenging transition into parenthood.

In this session, Sarah will focus on feelings many new parents struggle with — a sense of "not being a good enough parent." The early months of parenting can often leave us feeling constantly inadequate and self-critical.
Together, we will explore these feelings and discuss ways to challenge negative thoughts, helping us to relax and begin enjoying these early experiences with greater confidence and self compassion.

You can find out more about Sarah here:

🌿 Motherhood can sometimes feel surprisingly lonely 🌿

Even when surrounded by little people, busy routines, and endless to-do lists, many mums can still feel isolated, overwhelmed, or like they have to cope on their own. At Motherkind Café, we want you to know—you don’t have to. 💛

Tomorrow morning, we’ll be gathering again at Flo’s Pavilion for a warm, welcoming session filled with conversation, support, understanding, and tea ☕

Whether you’re finding motherhood hard right now, craving connection, or simply wanting to spend time with other mums who “get it”, you are so welcome to join us. There’s no pressure, no expectations—just a safe and supportive space to come exactly as you are.

🌸 As Maternal Mental Health Week comes to a close, we want to remind every mum that you don’t have to carry everything alone 🌸

Tomorrow morning, Motherkind Café will be opening its doors for another warm and welcoming session—a space to pause, connect, and be supported by other mums who understand the highs and lows of motherhood 💛

Whether this week has felt empowering, exhausting, emotional, or somewhere in between, you are welcome exactly as you are. Come for a chat, a cuppa, a listening ear, or simply a change of scene.

🌸 Maternal Mental Health Week 🌸

This week is a gentle reminder that your wellbeing matters too. Motherhood can be beautiful, exhausting, joyful, and overwhelming—often all at once. However you’re feeling, you’re not alone 💛

Here are a few small, realistic ways to prioritise your wellbeing each day:

✨ Take 5 minutes just for you – a cup of tea, a few deep breaths, a quiet moment✨ Step outside for fresh air, even if it’s just around the block✨ Message a friend or another mum who “gets it”✨ Lower the bar – not everything has to be done today✨ Rest when you can (yes, really)✨ Speak kindly to yourself—you’re doing more than enough

At Motherkind Café, we believe that looking after yourself isn’t a luxury—it’s essential. You deserve support, space, and connection 🤍

If you need a place to talk, listen, or just be, we’re here for you.

With all the works ongoing at the moment at Flo’s it can be daunting to try and find us, so I’ve done a little video on where are currently operating out of the pavilion which is tucked round the back of Flo’s. It would be love to see you next week.
If you are worried about attending a session please get in touch xx
