Spooky season at the garden. 🎃

Our Witney Youth Hub crew head to Blenheim every week to plant, grow and harvest. This week we also met a new (bony) friend.
With Blenheim celebrating this week, we couldn't resist a wander round the decorations.
Thanks to for having us, and Happy Halloween! 🦇👻

One night outside. A lot to think about.

At this year’s CEO Sleepout Oxford, colleagues and supporters from Aspire, and spent the night in University Parks to raise funds and awareness around homelessness.

It was cold, damp and uncomfortable at times, but everyone taking part knew one important thing: we could go home in the morning.
That distinction stayed with us.
The night sparked conversations, brought people closer together, and gave us a sharper sense of the everyday realities people sleeping rough face.

Thank you , , and the @ for helping make the night possible, and to everyone who donated, shared and supported.

A lovely evening in Oxford! 💜

Last Thursday, Aspire was delighted to join Mills & Reeve's Oxford office for their annual event at the museum, alongside another of their chosen charities.

It's always encouraging to see local businesses making space for community connections and supporting charities working to make a difference across Oxfordshire.

A big thank you to the Mills & Reeve team for inviting us, for the warm welcome and for their continued support!

It was a pleasure to welcome Charlie Maynard MP for Witney to our Witney Youth Hub this week.

Charlie spent time with the team, asked plenty of questions about the Hub and the support we provide, and heard more about the difference this work is making for young people locally.

We’re grateful for his interest in the Hub and for helping raise awareness of the support available to young people across Witney and West Oxfordshire. 💜

We’re looking for four people to help shape Aspire’s next chapter. 💜

As we approach 🎉25 years of working across Oxfordshire, we’re welcoming new Trustees onto our Board.

We’d especially love to hear from people with experience in fundraising and communications, HR and governance, social housing and welfare, or finance and risk.

Never been a Trustee before? That’s absolutely fine. We’re interested in the skills, experience and perspective you can bring, and full induction and support will be provided.

If you’d like to use your experience to support a local Oxfordshire charity and help influence where we go next, we’d love to hear from you.

A great couple of sessions at our recent hospitality workshop 💜

Delivered across two parts, the workshop gave young people the chance to explore opportunities in hospitality, learn more about the sector, and ask questions in a supportive environment.

The second session included a visit to The Fleece in Witney, where participants had an informative tour, met members of staff, and gained a real insight into the workplace.

A big thank you to everyone involved for helping make the experience so valuable.
