We’d also appreciate you sharing any old photos you may have.

Who remembers the totem pole at the entrance to Campfire Hollow? One of many around the site at that time. This photo is dated 1948.

No ‘old’ photos today, but a reminder of just how amazing the site looks this time of year - full of autumn colour despite this stormy weather and the dark evenings after the clocks going back! 🍁🍂

A big thanks to Anna for sending the photos! 👍🏽

Tick, tock, it’s time to change our clocks. . .
At 2am tonight, clocks will go back one hour in the UK.
It marks the end of light evenings and the start of the autumn season. 🍂
Enjoy the extra hour in bed! 🛌

Each Monday we’ll post old photos taken at Tawd Vale and we invite you to share your memories in the comments.
We’d also appreciate you sharing any old photos you may have.

These two photographs are titled ’Labour Gang - Liverpool Rover Scouts’ and taken by AE Mills, the founder and warden of the site at that time.
No date unfortunately but likely mid to late 1930s.

Clearly laying stone for a road, possibly what we now know as Noble Way?
