Birchwood is a charity tackling homelessness, mental health issues and wellbeing head-on.

We create positive change in communities through interconnected homelessness and housing support, mental health support, counselling, and wellbeing activities.

Today we’re shining a light on one of our brilliant volunteers, Billy 💚

Billy has volunteered with Birchwood for years, giving his time, energy and support to help others in our community.

We’re so pleased that he’s been nominated for a Pride in Place Lancashire award, and today Lancashire County Council came along to film Billy in action and hear more about the difference he makes.

We’re incredibly grateful for everything you do, Billy — this recognition is so well deserved. 💚

Mike and Carl were at BBC Radio Lancashire today, talking all things Break the Cycle!
A great opportunity to share more about the work we're doing at Birchwood, why preventing homelessness is so important and how our local community can help make a difference.
We've already raised over £71,000 towards our £100,000 target, and reaching it will unlock a further £250,000 in funding!
