Little Sunday smile for Tigers pals.

He’s been on Carrie support duties at a competition for the last few days but last minute entered a dog show to not only win his class but also the championship 😂

He was so happy that he showed his little gappy teeth 🙂 Thank you to Thornberry Animal Sanctuary for such a nice time, please look them up everyone. Also thank you to JoeysPetBoutique for the amazing hamper of treats.

Day 2 and the team have started their fundraising challenge. 3 hour paddle across Ullswater then a big mountain walk home.
This is a huge challenge for many. Conditions are not easy but they have a brilliant support crew and are carrying an excellent selection of snacks 🙂
They are raising money to help keep our youth group services and activities free for those who come. Please consider sponsoring them via the attached link and when they get back later we can share how much they have raised.

2026!

Our annual residential has begun and we have a really amazing bunch of young people with us.

Today we took a steamer boat over Ullswater then had our lunch and tackled the gorge walk. Teamwork and laughing meant that everyone managed the cliff jump.

Tech detox, friendship building, memory banking and just a time to rest and have fun. Thank you to everyone who has helped to make this happen.

Team have had a quiet couple of weeks as we refresh, plan and prepare for the next educational year and new adult courses.

The good news is that we are back!

This week is our youth residential trip to Patterdale Hall can’t wait to get our group together to bank memories, create friendships and laugh a lot 🙂
Due to a couple of last minute cancellations we have 2 spaces left to join us. Do you know of a young person age 12-15 who deserves a trip away with a supportive and kind team? They need to be able to stay away from home for 2 nights and must enjoy outdoor activities. Fully funded spaces. Please email [email protected] for more information.

It’s a week until takes place at the wonderful Patterdale Hall Residential Adventure Learning Centre. We’re excited to take over 20 children on an experience like no other.

Whilst away, we will be completing a sponsored canoe 🛶 (2km) and walk 🚶 (10km) to raise funds for the Youth Group.

We rarely ask for donations, but the Youth Group is free to attend and we need to raise funds so it remains that way.

New product in our shop!

These are our iconic mugs. Many an emotional or amusing conversation has been had with one of these in someone’s hand.

It’s not just a mug. It’s saying to someone, ‘Let’s have a brew because you matter and you’re not on your own’.

Isolation is dangerous, leaning into someone or a team when you are struggling is a sign of strength not weakness.

Showing up matters.
This little girl did a 6 hour stint on the car park yesterday. Collecting money, parking cars, chatting with people. Didn’t moan or give up even though her friends were at the fair. She knows the power of our work and never questions stepping up when needed.
Volunteering makes a difference. £300 raised yesterday supports an adult through a course and that could literally save a life.
Show up, be kind, work hard.

We are running the car park for Parbold Village Show today. Tiger can take card or cash and it’s £2 to pay. All donations go towards our services.
Team have gone all in and entered some food and vegetable classes too. We shall take defeat gracefully 🙂🙌
