Celebrate Diwali at Global Retreat Centre

Sunday 31st October 3pm - 4:30pm

Join us for an uplifting Diwali celebration filled with light, joy, togetherness and inspiration.

In a world where darkness prevails, just one spark can light up the world.

Come and reflect on the light we bring to others …are we illuminating the room or dimming it? We can all be the spark that brightens the people and world around us.

Celebrate and SHINE with enlightening words, entertainment, music, Indian dance, reflection. There will also be some meditation, silence, Indian sweet sharing and blessings.

Forest Bathing Saturday 25th of October 3pm to 430pm
Calm your body and mind
Forest bathing, or Shinrin-yoku in Japanese, means soaking in the forest through all of your senses to help you disconnect from the stress of everyday life.
Each session ends with herbal tea and an opportunity to share experiences.

Forest Bathing may help:
reduce blood pressure,
lower lower stress levels
boost the immune system
improve concentration
improve wellbeing
improve sleep

Please wear layers/waterproof clothes if wet and bring a blanket

Silent Sitting meditation Circle

Monday 5th October 7pm - 8pm

Join us for a one-hour Silent Sitting Circle, where you can meditate in a supportive community.
With a mix of silence, music, gentle prompts and minimal talking, you are welcome to join to feel a sense of peace and calm and share this with other.
Suitable for all faiths and backgrounds to connect with themselves and the divine.
Embrace stillness, nurture your spirit, and feel the connected.
All are welcome!

Need some time out to rest and reset this weekend?
Sunday 27th 3pm-4.30
Come to The Global Retreat Centre for a FREE Forest Bathing session.
Bring your blanket/ mat or camping chair and enjoy 90 mins in the beautiful autumnal garden. There will be a mix of deep relaxation and creative exercises to help calm your nervous and give you a digital detox. Herbal tea in the garden afterwards.
