We are an official student-run society dedicated to promoting biomedical sciences at the University of Oxford. We organise exclusive talks with guest speakers, careers seminars and social events, as well as promote access to the sciences and keep our members up to date with science news.

Our third-year MBiomedSci students were delighted to host a student-led FHS Part A examinations talk and Q&A for second-year students ahead of their upcoming exams.

The session began with a presentation by Mingwan, covering exam structure, strategies for tackling essays and short notes, as well as sharing resources our third year students had compiled for them.

This was followed by an interactive Q&A with Hannah, Edward, Yiran and Louise, where we discussed essay structure, exam technique, critical appraisal, and practical approaches to Part A exams.

It was brilliant to share our experiences and insights, answer thoughtful questions, and offer additional guidance and perspectives that aren’t always easily accessible.

Thank you to all the second-year students who attended - we hope you found the session useful.
