❤️💙 We nearly missed it, but this week we celebrate 8 years of Berry Youth Centre serving our local community and supporting young people to grow, connect and thrive.

Over the past 8 years we’ve seen countless young people walk through our doors, build confidence, make friends, learn new skills and create memories that will last a lifetime. None of this would have been possible without the dedication of our volunteers, supporters, families and community partners.

Over the years, we have also been proud to bring our community together through numerous events and celebrations. From spectacular fireworks displays and family summer fetes to community fun days, seasonal events and, this year, our very own music festival, these events have created opportunities for people of all ages to come together, connect and make lasting memories.

While we celebrate this milestone, we also recognise the challenges that come with running a community youth centre. Every single one of our youth workers is a volunteer, balancing their own jobs, families and personal commitments. Despite this, they continue to give up their time week after week because they genuinely care about the young people we serve.

To our volunteers, thank you for showing up, supporting our young people and helping make Berry Youth Centre what it is today.

To everyone who has supported us over the last 8 years – whether you’ve attended a session, volunteered your time, supported an event, donated, partnered with us or simply cheered us on from the sidelines – thank you. Here’s to the next chapter and many more years of making a difference together.❤️💙

🎶 🎨 Free creative workshops and hands on experience opportunities for 13-18 year olds 🎨 🎶 open to all, not just Berry Youth Centre members

There is 9 workshops in total:
- starting on 20th June, 27th June and 4th July
- then every Wednesday in Summer holidays there are going to be music and arts workshops such as painting giant murals with their designs and writing/recording their own music.
